Wanna Be Startin' Something...

It was the first time Ruby had ever attempted to part the veil between the living and the dead. But she knew that Wrill was afraid of ghosts... and he had earned some serious payback, spurning her affections for that perky, emerald, trollop.

She knew that something was happening when all of the hairs on the back of her neck began to stand up. But when an apparition appeared a few feet away and began floating toward her, Ruby's blood ran cold.

"You summoned me ", moaned the spirit.

Ruby gulped. Then shook off her fear in one violent shiver.

"There's a Martian, a Martian named Wrill in the house." She said. "I want you to scare him. I want you to scare him so bad, he has to change his underwear."

Peach and Novio did not even notice the ghost passing through the living room. They were too caught up watching the season finale of, The Bachelorette.

The ghost found Wrill out on the deck and followed his orders to the letter. Honestly, the ghost nearly gave the poor guy a heart attack.

Ruby should have been pleased with the success of her witchy stunt. However there had been one small snag. She had been unable to fully close the veil between the living and the dead. This meant that she could unintentionally summon another ghost just by thinking of a dead person.

At that very moment, a news reporter came on the television and announced that a famous entertainer had been declared dead.

Ruby's chin dropped. She tried frantically to empty her mind. But it was too late.

"This can't be happening! This isn't happening! NO WAY ! ! !"

Way.
